Mair's welcomes disabled visitors, having some ground floor rooms and some facilities for disabled persons. This Bed and Breakfast was opened by Graham Henry, the former coach of the Welsh national rugby team in 1999. It is located close to the town centre of Bridgend and ideally situated from the M4 motorway and the main Paddington/Swansea train line.
Mair's situated close to the coast; town of Bridgend; on the main line to Cardiff and Paddington (London), 2 hours drive of the Brecon Beacons, within half an hour from Swansea leading on the Gower peninsula and also within 20 minutes of the historic mining valleys. At the house among the facilities, there is a storage room for bicycles. For the cyclists who stay ,they may have packed lunches and enjoy the benefits of the excellent cycle tracks in and around the valleys and the Taff Trail. There are three twin/double en-suite rooms. Two have a separate bathroom and the third has a shower in the room and basin, the toilet is just outside the room door. On the ground floor there are two standard twin rooms which both share a bathroom which is opposite the rooms and is on the same level, having no steps. These two rooms have partial disabled facilities.
