B&B Guest House In 2 Acres Of Welsh Hillside & Almost Completely Surrounded By Trees, Evening Meals

Cloud Hill was designed exclusively as a "one of a kind" house for a very demanding client. The final design was the result of a limited submission architectural competition and was constructed and fitted out in approx 1965 The house was featured in the 1972 Daily Mail Book of House Plans as "House of the Year" and is considered by many as a design icon of the '60's. We are often visited by architecture students and many remark on the similarity with work by the famous American/Welsh Architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.

The house has connections with the late '60's and '70's pop world and is connected by name and history with Lawrence of Arabia. We have been given this information by past owners and local rumour and gossip We have a large lounge, morning room with TV and Video where breakfast is served. Our three bedrooms are at the rear of the house where it is quiet. Double bedded room en-suite fully self contained Bath with shower over WC and WB Twin bedded room en-suite with large shower,wc and wb Two twin bedded rooms which share a bathroom,bath,wc,wb, which is situated between them Rooms do not have TV and smoking and drinking is prohibited in the Rooms. Smoking and drinking is permitted in the morning room We have asked our two cats, but they will not permit pets to enter their territory
