As the name suggests the building once served as the police station and magistrates court for Betws-y-Coed. It has been sympathetically restored and refurbished to provide comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation, and still contains many of its original features which make The Courthouse somewhere special in Snowdonia to stay.
The Bed & Breakfast has a distinctive, cosy, galleried dining room is where you will enjoy a hearty Welsh breakfast in what used to be the courtroom. All meals are prepared from the freshest ingredients and you can enjoy them in our non-smoking environment. Vegetarian diets can be catered for. Packed lunches are available by prior arrangement, and are popular with walkers. Here you can also soak up the atmosphere of the lounge, inspired by the previous incarnation of the building. Previously the main entrance to the police station it now houses an array of police badges and hats from around the world.
