A warm and friendly welcome to North Wales is offered to all our guests at the Ashmount by the resident hosts and proprietors Peter & Judith Underhill. Located on the ground floor is a spacious lounge area with comfortable seating and relaxing decor. This room is ideal for watching a good film or for simply relaxing in and having a chat with friends or other guests.The lounge facilities include a large screen television with free view digital tv and a video player (there are a selection of videos available for guests to use).Also available are books and magazines that our guests are welcome to borrow during their stay.

The dining area is split into two areas. The first of these areas consists of a cosy area with comfortable seating around a fire place. (An ideal spot to read your morning paper after breakfast). The second and larger area is the dining room where guests can enjoy a hearty and delicious breakfast that has been freshly cooked to order in our newly refurbished kitchen areas. However should you be wishing to dine with family and friends this can be accommodated as well.

Rooms Description

Our comfortable guest bedrooms are located on three floors.Ground floor accomodation comprises of a single room, twin room and double room.The double and twin rooms have direct access from the side of the hotel which means easier access for any guests that maybe are not so mobile. The first and second floor accomodation All of our guest rooms are ensuite and also have colour tv, clock radio, hair dryer, hospitality tray and central heating. An iron and ironing board are also available on request.

Specialities

Peter & Judith Underhill purchased the Ashmount Hotel in June 2000 and after twelve months refurbishment opened for business in June 2001. Since then we have seen a steady increase in the business with many of our guests returning time and time again. We also value the fact that many of our guests feel they are able to recommend the Ashmount to their families and friends. we enjoy meeting people and making new friends.
