Or’Eira is a spacious and comfortable house, with full central heating and ideal for a family holiday. From all of the windows there are beautiful views over farmland, woodland, hillsides and to Cader Idris. The garden is large and simple but with wonderful views. It is ideal for relaxation and for family games. Or’Eira is surrounded by woodland, farmland, moors and streams and there is an abundance of wildlife in the area. So, if you are in the right place at the right time you can see woodpeckers and pied fly-catchers, deer and badgers, orchids and saxifrage.

Or’Eira is situated about 4 miles east of Dolgellau, about ½ mile off the road to Bala. There is easy access to Northern Snowdonia. On the coast Barmouth, Harlech and Aberdovey are all within reach. To the east there is Bala Lake and Lake Vyrnwy.There are plenty of local attractions, too. The Dolgellau area is ideal for walking, with lots of easy routes along the lanes and through woodland and moorland, while Cader Idris and the other mountains present more serious challenges. There are many opportunities for mountain biking (Coed y Brenin is close-bye), for fishing, golf and for water sports. Other attractions include miniature railways, castles, nature reserves and craft centres.

Rooms Description

Downstairs there is a large sitting room with a log fire. There is a radio/CD player and satellite television. In the large modern kitchen the equipment includes a microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and a double oven. There are dining tables in both the kitchen and in the sitting room. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms – 2 double and 2 twin. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities. In the family bathroom there is a shower and a bath.
