The Rhosson and Y Penty are splendid self catering cottages in the Snowdonia National Park, just a short walk from the centre of the quaint village of Dolgellau. The houses are located on the beautiful Arosfyr Farm, featuring terraced flower borders on two sides and opening on the others to show the cascading landscape of the Cader Idris Mountains. The Rhosson, newly built in 2000, and Y Penty provide all the necessary modern amenities and fixtures. The cottages boast a supremely fitted kitchen with a built in cooker, deep freezer, refrigerator, dishwasher (only in Rhosson property), washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and a selection of utensils. If at the Rhosson cottage take the opportunity to sit on the small patio built in the front of the house where you can fully appreciate the views with a drink. With double glazing, heating, and a sunny position the cottages are ideal for winter breaks.

Being located in Snowdonia allows for visitors to take full advantage of the outdoor activities available. There are various places to partake in sport such as rock climbing and trekking. Or try the nearby Coed y Brenin where you can visit a world renowned mountain biking centre. If nature and wildlife interest you journey to one of the many local fishing haunts or go bird watching at the RSPB Bird Reserve in Penmaenpool. Rhosson is also ideally situated for venturing further from Snowdonia to villages in Mid and North Wales.

Rooms Description

The Rhosson can accommodate up to four guests. The house has one double bedded room and a twin bedded room. Y Penty cottage sleeps up to five guests, with one double room, a twin bedded room, and a cot/folding bed. All rooms in both properties have heaters and duvets, bed linens are not supplied. Both cottages have a bathroom with bath and shower.
