Wernol Caravan Park is beautifully situated just one mile outside of the village of Chwilog and commands panoramic views of Cardigan Bay and the Snowdonia National Park. The nearby village has a post office, general shop, butchers and country inn and this is an excellent centre from which to explore the Llyn Peninsula, Snowdonia and North Wales. The Llyn Peninsula has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and stretches out from Snowdonia into thew Irish Sea. With nearly 100 miles of coastline, historic sites and attractive villages the area has long been popular with visitors yet has managed to retain an unspoilt air.

The Snowdonia National Park is renowned for its stunning mountain scenery and has much more than just walking to offer. There are narrow gauge railways, the Italianate village of Portmeirion, slate caverns and much more all just waiting to be discovered during your stay at Wernol Caravan and Chalet Park. There are a range of fantastic facilities available on this four star rated caravan park, all aimed to make your stay with us more comfortable and enjoyable. For the younger visitors we have a safe children's play area, slide and sand pit and there is a separate playing field for ball games etc. There is a games room on site and wifi Internet access along with a toilet and shower block and laundry room for your convenience.

Rooms Description

Wernol Caravan and Chalet Park offers a range of modern and luxurious self catering caravans for rent. A choice of 2 or 3 bedroom caravans is available, sleeping between 4 and 6 persons. Each comprises of a well equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle; a large lounge dining area with colour TV and a shower room with shower, wash basin and toilet. In addition to these we have a self catering chalet with one double and one twin bedroom. Again there is a well equipped kitchen along with large lounge with dining suite and a bathroom with bath and shower over. In 2006 we converted a barn into two lovely, centrally heated holiday cottages with panoramic views from the french windows towards Abersoch and St Tudwal's Islands. These sleep 2-4 people and one is adpated for wheelchair users. Our five star self catering farmhouse sleeps 6 people in one twin and two double bedrooms and is beautifully equipped and furnished throughout.

Specialities

Pets are welcome at the park but we do ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times. A five minute walk from the park itself brings you to a small lake stocked with a variety of fish, excellent for angling on your own or with friends. Picnic tables can be found around the lake if you want to make a day of it with the whole family.
