Kitchen, toilet and bathroom, which has electric shower fitted over the bath, are on the ground floor, with single 20cm step up into kitchen and bathroom from the living/dining area. Living room has a sofa bed. Garden is on two levels, with approximately 10 steps between the two levels. Top level of garden can be accessed via road down three steps. Nearest public phone is within 5 minutes walk. Most mobile phone networks have good reception but others will only work at front of building. Main bus-stop 10 minutes walk, local bus stop opposite. Regular bus and train service(bus meets train) Monday to Saturday, lifts can be provided by arrangment to train and bus links. Tredegar town is named after Lord Tredegar, head of the Morgan family and owner of the local iron works. Two hundred years ago they were one of the richest families similar in wealth to Bill Gates! Tredegar is located at the head of the Sirhowy Valley, just south of the Brecon Beacons National Park, and to the west of the World Heritage Site at Blaenavon.
