The stables and coach-house of a former hunting lodge built in 1910, has been sympathetically modernised by an award winning architect. Nestled in the Brechfa Valley, the property includes a stunning glass-walled gallery and exposed stone fireplace with wood burner. Outside is a wonderful decked patio suntrap. The area is rural with forest walks and mountain bike trails and has two very good restaurants and tavern close by. The lush Towy Valley with its historic sites and the Garden of Wales is only 8 miles away.

We also have salmon and trout fishing rights for over two miles of the beautiful Cothi River. Several good runs and many holding pools including the locally renowned 'Rocky Pools' (The Rocks). Day tickets are available for fishing and we are happy to include a day's fishing with your stay at the stables. Please indicate that you would like this when booking. The property has a shared garden with the main house, with garden furniture and barbecue a decked patio and off road parking for up to 3 cars.

First floor: Second lounge with two sofas, television with Freeview. one twin bedroom. Hot tub on decking please provide own towels/towelling robe. Facilities: Storage heating, wood burner in lounge (reasonable wood provided) electricity included in rent, bed linen and towels, cot, high chair, television with Sky Plus; DVD, video, stereo CD player, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, shared garden with main house, decked patio, garden furniture, barbecue and off road parking for up to 3 cars.

Specialities

A haven for bird watchers, peaceful and secluded setting the ideal place to relax and chill. Smoking is not permitted inside the lodge. Sorry, no pets.
