The Old Stable at Vine House - Guilsfield
Newly Converted Self Catering Old Stable, Exploring Beautiful Area Of Mid Wales, Village With 2 Inns
Our small and cosy self-catering accommodation was built around 1800 as a two-storey hay store and stable for the horse and trap of the first owner of our home, Elizabeth Pugh. Its materials with brick and welsh slate mirror the house itself. Later in the 20th Century car replaced horse and the upper storey, the hay store, became a general storage area. By the present Century the outbuilding was in need of major attention and we have undertaken its complete refurbishment. We have enthusiastically preserved the orginal design features of this cosy outbuilding along with its internal beams and shape to provide quality holiday accommodation. The latest building and safety regulations have been totally adhered to and The Old Stable is completely insulated and very comfortable.
The Old Stable, Yr Hen Stabal, is just a few yards to the side of Vine House and will most comfortably accommodate two adults. The beamed downstairs consists of a small fully resourced galley kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine. A window overlooks your parking area and the lane. There is a dining table and four chairs. The sitting area comprises a comfortable sofa bed, colour TV and DVD player - please bring your own DVDs to enjoy.
