This stunningly situated, three star Devil's Bridge hotel was originally built as a hunting lodge in the 1700's and sits at the head of the dramatic waterfalls, overlooking the spectacular wooded gorges of the Mynach and Rheidol Rivers. The hotel lies at the western edge of the Cambrian Mountains and Elan Valley and is just a twenty minute drive away from the university town of Aberystwyth, making this the ideal base for a short break or longer holiday. The countryside around the hotel offers unsurpassed walking and we have details of circular walks leading from the front door available to guests.

Whatever your interests, you are sure to find something to suit in the area around the Hafod Hotel. Therev are excellent opportunities for both road and mountain biking to be found nearby and birdwatching can be enjoyed in the gardens, countryside and wooded valleys around the hotel. Alternatively, take the mountain road to Rhyadern and the Elan Valley or ride the narrow gauge railway at Aberystwyth.
