Sheepleys B&B - Llandow
A friendly and welcoming bed and breakfast between Cowbridge and Llantwit Major in the Vale Of Glamorgan. Choice of comfortable double and twin rooms.
Our names are Wendy and Roger Bolter and we would like to welcome you to Sheepleys, a beautiful bed and breakfast nestled between Cowbridge and Llantwit Major in the Vale of Galmorgan. The city of Cardiff is a mere twenty minutes away by car and the airport just fifteen minutes. We will do all we can to make your stay both relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable! Although the house looks like a fairly traditional farmhouse, it was in fact only built about 30 years ago. It was part of Sheepleys Farm until August 2001, when we bought it together with the stable block and paddocks. We have quite a menagerie here! The dogs (Italian Spinone) are called Spoli and Pia, and the fluffy ginger cat you might see skulking around is called Simba. We also have two "Part Time" cats, Jamie and Elliott who divide their time between us and the farm.

There are various sizes of Goldfish, Koi Carp and Tench in the pond, and the birds in the aviary seem to be multiplying all the time. Our three horses, Ronnie , Obi and Megan, are ridden regularly and munch the grass in the paddock with our "flock" of five sheep! (Called Sixer, Spot, Minty, Nelson & Golly). In the morning you may be awoken by a strange noise. Don't worry - It's merely our two donkeys, Sugar and Spice, getting impatient for their breakfast! Finally, we also have 10 chickens, so the eggs you have for breakfast might well have been laid the day before by one of our 'girlies'!

We have two double rooms with en-suite/private facilities and one twin bedded/double room with en-suite facilities. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished and well equipped with TV,Wi-fi, radio/alarm, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Great attention to detail and thoughtful 'extra' little touches ensure that you will have a very comfortable stay.
Specialities
Although we do not have specific facilities for the disabled, we welcome partially sighted and hard of hearing guests. So if you are in any way disabled, please call us to discuss your requirements. We are are proud to hold the Welcome Host Gold Award and Walkers and Cyclists Award. We welcome well behaved dogs and have stabing and paddocks for your horse if you wish to bring him/her on holiday and experience some tremendous riding!

Directions
Leave the M4 at junction 35 and take the A473 towards Pencoed. At the first roundabout, after approx. ¼ mile, take the third exit signed to Felindre. After approx. 4 miles, at a 'T' junction with the A48 turn left and immediately right, signed LLantwit Major/Llandow. Proceed through the village of Llysworney. After about 1 mile turn right at a crossroads, signed "Sheepleys B&B". Sheepleys is the first house you come to on the right hand side, approx. ½ mile up the road.
