Porth Y Aur is an ideally located grade 2 listed former Sea Captain's home with superb views of Criccieth Castle and just two minute's walk away from the beach. This historic town lies directly on the coast and looks south across Cardigan Bay. The Cambrian Mountains provide a magnificent backdrop across Tremadoc Bay to the east and the rocky Lleyn Peninsula stretches westward. The waters and beaches at Criccieth enjoy a Blue Flag quality rating thanks to work by Welsh Water in recent years.

Walk the famous International Potters' Path outside The Chapel of Art in Marine Crescent or have family celebration or romantic meal for two, the restaurants of Criccieth are able to oblige with the finest food and wines. The standard is high and most restaurants pride themselves in offering seasonal specialities made using fresh local produce. The cottage is within walking distance to the high street which has a good variety of shops and restaurants to cater for all your needs. This charming cottage is very comfortably furnished for maximum of six people and a baby.The cosy lounge has a real (coal) fire for your comfort and enjoyment.The dining room seats six and has a lovely view of Criccieth Castle. There are three bedrooms including two doubles and one with bunk beds.Downstairs showeroom with wc and basin.
