The earliest parts of the farmhouse date to pre 1700 with later additions through Georgian and Victorian times. The cottage rooms are available on a self catering or bed and breakfast basis.

The farmhouse enjoys uninterrupted views of the countryside and there is a stream, waterfall and wooded areas within the grounds to walk and explore. Fishing is available on the nearby River Tawe. Breakfast is a 'help yourself' continental breakfast freshly prepared and delivered by the castle, though guests are welcome to have a full cooked English breakfast at the castle.
