Our four holiday cottages and apartment are named after the beautiful local beaches of Gower. The holiday cottages are situated alongside Shepherds Store, Parkmill which is located at the heart of Gower giving you unparalleled access to all the attractions that the Gower has to offer. The cottages are within a short walking distance from the outstanding Three Cliffs Bay, runner-up in the BBC's "Britain's Favourite View" series, and are suitable for families and couples alike. We are child friendly and if you find that you need anything extra in order to make your childrens stay easier for you, then you only have to ask, e.g. listening monitors / safety gates. Babysitting can be arranged. Dogs are also welcome by prior arrangement at no extra cost, and the accommodation is situated alongside some great walks. Dogs are allowed on virtually all Gower beaches, so you'll be spoilt for choice.

At Gower Accommodation, Parkmill, you are ideally placed for exploring the Gower and its vicinity. Swansea is 15 minutes away with its new Leisure Centre, museums, shopping, marina and cinemas. The fishing village of Mumbles is also nearby offering unique shopping and a great variety of restuarants. We are also only 20 minutes from the end of the Gower - Rhossili Bay & Worms Head. Groups of golfers, walkers, cyclists are also welcome as the cottages can be block booked and we can arrange for rounds of golf at local courses. There is a secure area for storing bikes, canoes etc.

Rooms Description

The accommodation consists of four self-contained cottages and 1 apartment. Three Cliffs, Oxwich and Rhossili Cottage each have 2 bedrooms and will sleep 4 plus a child in a travel cot. Tor Bay Cottage has one bedroom so will sleep 2, plus a child in a travel cot. On the ground floor, each cottage is has a well equipped kitchen area with electric oven, hob, microwave, and fridge with freezer compartment and all the necessary equipment for eating at home. There is a luxury bathroom with power shower (no bath), heated towel rail and electric shaving point also on the ground floor. The lounge area has under floor heating with stone tiled floor, leather sofa and flat screen TV. There is a dining table and chairs which can be rolled into place when needed, then stored in the opening under the stairs. In the main bedroom there is a double bed, fitted wardrobe with chest of drawers and another flat screen TV. In the two bedroomed cottages, the second bedroom has one single bed with a 'high sleeper' over it and the room has extra high celings, plus there is also space for a travel cot.Utilities and bed linen is included in the price of your stay. Towels are available at an extra charge '` please indicate on booking whether you require towels. There is a table top ironing board and iron in each property, plus an area outside at the rear where an airing contraption is fixed to the wall. Hairdryers are available to borrow, simply collect from Shepherds store on your arrival (returnable deposit required). The apartment is quite spectacular. Sleeping 8 - 10, it has a large open plan lounge / dining area with fireplace & woodburning stove. The ceilings in the lounge are some 20ft high! Luxury fitted kitchen with dishwasher, integrated fridge. Bathroom, separate wc. 2 bedrooms have king-sized beds, one has twin singles with a spiral staircase leading to the 4th bedroom which also has 2 single beds. The apartment also has a beautiful garden with patio, lawn, play area and mature shrubs. Patio furniture is supplied.

We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Food supplies can be ordered in advance so can be ready for you upon arrival. Since we at Shepherds are also a mini Tourist Information Centre, we can assist you plan your visit to make the most of your stay. You only have to ask!
