The cottages are in an elevated position, which provides picturesque views over the Margam mountains. The peaceful location is great for visitors looking for a break in the countryside. The cottages are located on a working farm and visitors can be shown the cows at milking time and can help with feeding the calves if they wish. Visitors can also see the horses and ponies. Leisure activities available in the local area include walking, bird watching, cycling, horse riding and golf. The nearest town is Porthcawl, with its lovely sandy beaches which are ideal for fishing and surfing. There are also many great restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops.
There is a choice of four cottages, sleeping, four, five, six or eight people. The cottages have been converted from old stone farm buildings and have original features such a exposed beams and flagstone floors. The cottages also have wood burning stoves with logs supplied. The living rooms have comfy sofas, TVs and DVD players. The kitchens are fully equipped and there are also dining tables and chairs in each cottage.
The cottages each have between two and four bedrooms. A mix of twin and double rooms make the cottages the perfect choice of accommodation for family holidays. Many of the bedrooms are ensuite. There are also great views of the beautiful countryside out of the windows.
These holiday cottages are perfect for families. A high chair, travel cot and stair gate are available on request. Dogs and cats are not permitted. However, if you would like to bring your horse or pony it can be accommodated in the stables. Strictly no smoking. The cottages have been awarded a three and four star rating by The Wales Tourist Board.

Get off the M4 at Junction 37 and follow the A4229 to Porthcawl. At the first roundabout take the third exit to North Cornelly, just before the bridge turn right and go over the cattle grid and follow the lane leading to the farmhouse and cottages.
