The two buildings began life as barns in the eighteenth century and have now been lovingly restored to provide modern and comfortable accommodation. The properties perfectly combine the old and the new , mixing old oak beams and ultra modern bathrooms, old feature stone walls and underfloor heating. Both cottages have been awarded four stars by Visit Britain.
The holiday accommodation lies just half a mile away from a village with two country pubs, both of which serve food, a village shop, post office and butchers. The farm covers ten acres and has orchards, a lakeside barbecue/picnic area, stream and a herd of llamas! Pomona Cottage has a 22 foot sitting room and has been designed with less able visitors in mind. It is situated on the level and sleeps four in one double and one twin bedroom. The bathroom is equipped with a wet room and kitchen and the property has a Mobility Impairment Level M1 rating.
The Cider House sleeps two people and has a luxurious roll top en-suite bathroom along with a 25 foot long bedroom with king sized antique brass bedstead and walk in wardrobe. Pomona Cottage sleeps four and has a modern wetroom. Each cottage has a fully fitted kitchen complete with ceramic hob, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Cots and highchairs are available on request. No smoking or pets. Both cottages have wireless broadband, so guests may bring their own laptop.
Old King Street Farm offers half day and one day llama treks. You will help call in, catch, halter, groom and walk your llama through the fields and farm , or beyond through the glorious Herefordshire countryside.
