Herefordshire holiday cottage accommodation: Pomona Cottage and The Cider House offer self catering accommodation for four and two people respectively in the heart of the Welsh Marches, just twelve miles from Hereford and Abergavenny. The two buildings began life as barns in the eighteenth century and have now been lovingly restored to provide modern and comfortable accommodation. The properties perfectly combine the old and the new , mixing old oak beams and ultra modern bathrooms, old feature stone walls and underfloor heating. Both cottages have been awarded four stars by Visit Britain.
The holiday accommodation lies just half a mile away from a village with two country pubs, both of which serve food, a village shop, post office and butchers. The farm covers ten acres and has orchards, a lakeside barbecue/picnic area, stream and a herd of llamas! Pomona Cottage has a 22 foot sitting room and has been designed with less able visitors in mind. It is situated on the level and sleeps four in one double and one twin bedroom. The bathroom is equipped with a wet room and kitchen and the property has a Mobility Impairment Level M1 rating.
