There are quiet walks with spectacular scenery leading from the end of the driveway and a range of activities including ten pin bowling, clay pigeon shooting, archery, go karting, quad biking, surfing, sailing and boat trips can be arranged locally. Attractions to be found within easy reach of The Old Rectory include Portmeirion, Caernarfon, Criccieth, Harlech, Beaumaris, Conway and Bodnant Gardens.

The cottage has a cosy sitting room with original inglenook fireplace andd beams and is ccomfortably furnished with sofa, double bed settee and chairs. There is a colour TV, DVD player, books, magazines and tourist information. The dining area leads to the kitchen which is fully fitted with dishwasher, double oven, electric hob, microwave and fridge. The floors are slate with rugs. A separate laundry room to the rear of the cottage has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. A barbeque and garden furniture is provided.
