Property Information

Located in the beautiful Green Cwm Valley, Llethryd Barns provide unique B&B accommodation set in their own 11 acre grounds, much of which is protected by the Nature Conservancy Council and is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Situated in the heart of the Gower Peninsula, Wales, with its spectacular beaches and picturesque walks, this is the perfect base for a tranquil rural getaway in South Wales.

The barns were originally built in 1835 and have been lovingly converted to provide spacious and comfortable suites in a delightful courtyard setting. Our Garden Suites are finished to an extremely high standard, with each benefiting from French doors leading out onto your own private south facing deck with patio set for two. Each suite is complete with lounge, bedroom and en-suite shower room and all have beverage facilities, TV with Freeview and DVD player.

Additional Information

Our Courtyard Suites are similarly laid out, with the exception of the private decked area. All have their own private entrance off the gravelled courtyard, allowing private ease of access throughout your stay. The suites are comfortably furnished for a restful stay in the tranquil surroundings of the majestic Welsh countryside.

Specialities

The countryside of the Gower Peninsula is a haven for wildlife and there are many species of birds to be found locally including sparrow hawks and green woodpeckers. Our goats, chickens and ducks also look forward to making new friends. We even have our own caves but, as these are not easy to negotiate, the South Wales Caving Club must be contacted for advice first (and the caves' key). Experience is a must unless part of a group. No pets. Well behaved children welcome.
