Afon Gwy Riverside Restaurant with Rooms is a Grade II listed building dating from 1735. This historic property features in Turner's painting of Chepstow Castle and is beautifully situated alongside the River Wye between Chepstow Castle and the Old Wye Bridge. The restaurant was formally known as the Half Moon Inn and is referenced in numerous historic books on Chepstow. Guests benefit from easy access to Chepstow's many attractions including the nearby castle, Chepstow Racecourse and the Offas Dyke Walking Trail. Several golf courses are situated near the property including the famous Ryder Cup venue Celtic Manor.

The on-site Riverside Restaurant offers both a Table D'Hote and A La Carte menu. The finest fresh local produce is cooked to order and to the highest standards. A wide selection of celebration menus are available including wedding packages and we are happy to cater for large groups and coach parties. The restaurant is non smoking throughout.
