The Dairy Holiday Cottage - Cowbridge

Attractive converted barn located in Cowbridge close to shops, restaurants and pubs. Well equipped throughout, sleeps 5. Ideal for a self catering break away.

The Dairy is a well equipped converted barn that can sleep up to 5 people, located in Cowbridge. Cowbridge lies in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan and is one of the most picturesque towns in the Vale. The main road through the town is aligned with quaint boutiques and restaurants, complimented by several excellent pubs where you can enjoy food and drink. Originally, The Dairy was a milking house and the stone dates back to 1698. Over the past few years, the barn has been sympathetically restored and converted into living accommodation. The Dairy is a self contained barn with a private garden situated within the grounds of a working herb farm.

Cowbridge has long been known for its many events throughout the year including the famous Food and drink Festival in October, followed by The Fashion Show and then the festive Christmas season kicks off with a visit from Father Christmas and his parade where children and adults will delight in the sight of real Reindeer and entertainment concluding with a firework display. There are many places to visit including The Amelia Trust Farm, Coed Hills Rural Artspace, Welsh Hawking Centre, Dyffryn Gardens, The Museum of Welsh Life, The Big Pit - a working coalmine museum, National Museum and Gallery of Wales and various castles of Wales.
