Blackheath Cottage is a cosy 200 year old, two bedroom stone cottage providing self catering holiday accommodation for up to five people on the magnificent Gower Peninsula. The cottage has enclosed gardens and is ideally located on a quiet lane in Reynoldston village,just a short stroll from one of the area's finest real ale pubs.There is a local shop 100 yards up the lane.The village is just ten minutes from the Port Eynon or Oxwich beaches and can be reached in just three hours from London,two from Birmingham and one hour from Bristol

Outdoor enthusiasts and families will find no shortage of things to see and do while you can walk or cycle from the frontdoor of the cottage along country lanes and paths to all the great beaches and beauty spots of Gower.The cottage boasts a wide range of books maps and guides on where to visit,shop or eat. The Gower was designated the UK's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1956 and has a range of landscapes just waiting to be explored. Other activities available within the locality include fishing, archery, water sports, golf and bird watching.

Rooms Description

Blackheath Cottage has two bedrooms containing three new beds. The bathroom is beautifully tiled with an extra large bath and powerful electric shower. The kitchen extremely well equiped with gas stove as well as eye level electric grill and cooker,dishwasher,washing machine and drier as well as a wine cooler.The dining area leads on to the garden via French doors and the dining table seats six. The lounge area houses a stone fireplace with multifuel log burner and a TV with satellite channels, DVD player and range of DVDs for all ages. To the rear is a patio area overlooking the lawn, complete with gas barbecue for those who like to dine al fresco in the warmer months.

Specialities

We welcome children of all ages and have a travel cot and high chair for babies. House rules are no pets and no smoking.
