Four star en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation in the Clywidian Hills near to Chester, Snowdonia National Park and the coast. The Old Mill is set in the hamlet of Melin-y-Wern and was once the stables for the adjacent water mill, the reason for the hamlet's existence. The miller's house was extended and now is home to the Cherry Pie Inn and Restaurant, which we highly recommend to our guests. There are a great many walks to be found within the locality, including the long distance Offa's Dyke footpath. Details of other local walks can be found in each room, along with a map to ensure you don't get lost!

We have six comfortable and well equipped en-suite bedrooms offering a combination of double, twin and family rooms. Some rooms with en-suite bath and shower, some shower only. Two are on the ground floor and four on the first floor. Three of the six rooms have their own external entrances. All guest rooms are complete with free wifi Internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, telephone, TV, radio and trouser press. Your car is accomodated close to your bedroom and our attractive garden setting makes this the ideal base for a relaxing rural getaway.
