Glan Gors Self Catering Apartment is within walking distance of a selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Just a short stroll away is Harlech beach, ideal for families with children. Along the coast there are several other large sandy beaches. The popular Royal St David's golf course is about a five minute walk away. The area is excellent for walkers, both for gentle strolling and for more serious mountain climbing, either in the heart of Snowdonia or on the Rhinogydd a few miles behind Harlech (an area where you can walk all day & often not see another person). For those wanting to tour and looking for a bit of history why not visit some of the beautiful castles in the area? Harlech Castle is about 10 minutes walk, or you can just enjoy the view of it from the lawns around Glan Gors. Criccieth, Caernarfon & Conwy Castles are 30 minutes to an hour away by car.
