Glebe Farm is a Grade II Listed Building and is a very special old house as it has its own unique friendly resident ghost! It dates as far back as the 12th century and has a wealth of history surrounding it. It was originally built for the powerful order of St John of Jerusalem and his Knights. The Barns are situated in the farm yard and when you relax on the patio you can enjoy the ambience and spectacular views of such a peaceful and stunning hamlet of North Gower.

The Gower Peninsula has a multitude of things to do and see in this beautiful area. Those choosing an active holiday can enjoy walking, climbing, cycling, canoeing, archery, golf, horse riding, bushcrafts and fishing, or simply enjoy a day at the beach -Whitford beach (has a hide for keen bird watchers)is within walking distance, Llangennith beach is in the next Village (great for surfing!) & more than 6 other lovely beaches and coves in South Gower, a short drive away. Another popular activity is to take a scenic boat trip along the south Gower coast for fantastic views of the wildlife. There are craft centres, galleries, kite and surf shops, local quaint country inns and several nature reserves all within easy reach of Glebe Farm Barns.

Rooms Description

Two barn conversions are available to guests, either let as individual barns or can be let as one unit. The Granary is a 5 Star WTB awarded barn sleeping up to 5 people + cot. Comprising 3 bedrooms: 1 kingsize and 1 twin on the first floor accessed via a welsh oak mezzanine walkway. The very comfortable single room on the first floor All bed linen, towels (not beach)& tea towels are included. Travel cots, high chairs and baby baths are available free of charge (please bring own linen for cot). Both properties enjoy fantastic views, have ample parking and all utilities are included in the price.

We have recently been awarded 4 design awards: "Best Vernacular Feature in Gower" & "Best in Category" at the Lord Mayor's Design Awards 2007, "High Standards of Construction & Workmanship" at the Built in Quality Awards 2007 and The Gower Society Design Award 2007. Sorry no pets. Please note: There are two barn conversions, one sleeping up to five people (plus a cot) and the other sleeping two people (plus a cot), however there is an adjoining door between the two properties which is usually locked. This door could be opened to make one larger property sleeping up to seven people plus 2 cots.
