Welcome to the Hafod Lydan Farmhouse! This self catering accommodation is located on a working farm in the mountains and sits an amazing 650 feet above sea level. Its position means it commands stunning panoramic views of Llanberis Lake, Elidir and her sisters and around to Snowdon. The property has been recently refurbished and boasts comfortable furnishings whilst retaining its character. Here you can enjoy the fully equipped kitchen decorated in a farm style with gorgeous slate countertops. In the kitchen you will find all the appliances and utensils you could need. Make a lovely meal and enjoy it in our large dining room that can seat up to 12. The dining room also contains a wood burning stove that can double as another hob! After filling up relax in one of the two lounges, both with warming wood burning stoves.

We are an ideal location for those wanting a peaceful retreat without being completely isolated. Llanberis is only a mile away and boasts shops, restaurants, and pubs for your entertainment. There are many nearby attractions to visit including: Snowdon Mountain Railway, Electric mountain, Slate museum, and the Dolbadarn Castle. We are ideal for those wanting to take part in some outdoor activities, many walks start right from your door, cycling is also popular locally. If you prefer to spend a day around the property why not explore our 100 acres and try to spot some of the local wildlife, like peregrines, buzzards, woodpeckers, owls and jays. Being a farm we also are home to animals such as cattle and sheep which you can watch, perhaps even pet or feed a baby lamb.

Rooms Description

The property sleeps up to 12 in five rooms. There is a large room with a king sized bed, a room with 2 bunk beds, a room with one bunk bed, and a room with two single beds. One of the lounges also doubles as a bedroom as it has a comfortable double sofa bed.

Specialities

There is ample parking available. Secure bike storage is available on request. Basic supplies of tea bags, coffee, sugar and fresh milk, will also be in there for your arrival. We can also supply fresh free range eggs from the farm, these must be pre booked.
