This restored farm granary is now a self catering holiday cottage that sleeps 1 to 4 people. Arrive at our 80 acre non-working farm and be greeted by a Welsh speaking family. Situated in the heart of the Vale of Clwyd there are many places to venture to nearby such as the naturally beautiful Hiraethag Moors or staying closer to the cottage you can wander the country roads and footpaths. If you enjoy history and romance you should pop in at one of the many castles the region has to offer, from the Rhuddlan Castle and Denbigh Castle to Bodelwyddan Castle. We are also only a short distance from the richly historical town of Ruthin which is home to many wonderful pieces of architecture.

The Granary comprises of a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. The bedroom has 2 single beds, duvets, vanity unit, shower point, and walk in wardrobe. The bathroom has a shower, wash basin, and toilet. On the first floor you will find a lounge with spectacular views of the surrounding landscape, a sofa bed, chairs, a TV and electric fire all of which are here to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The first floor of the cottage also contains the fully equipped and fitted kitchen and dining room with table and chairs, washing machine, ironing facilities, electric cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster and a selection of crockery. A storage heater, bed linen, and garden furniture are also provided. We can cater for small children by providing a cot, high chair. No pets are allowed. Ample parking is available.

Specialities

The Granary is ideally located close to the Clwydian range. We have a fantastic Mountain bike centre 10 miles away in Llandegla forestry. You can hire bikes or take your own.

Discounts & Deals

Short breaks are available £50-£75 per night depending on time of year. Short break booking during school holiday will only be taken last minute.
