Snowdonia is one of the three National Parks in Wales and its 823 square miles encompass some of Wales' most popular attractions including Mount Snowdon, the beautiful coastline around Barmouth and the Talyllyn Railway. Climb Mount Snowdon on a choice of walks or take the Snowdonia Mountain Railway to the summit before walking the Snowdon Horseshoe path at the top of the Llanberis Pathway. Other outdoor activities to enjoy in Snowdonia include horse-riding, fishing and caving or head to Coed y Brenin and Betws y Coed for the best mountain biking trails.

There is also an excellent range of water sports to try including kayaking, long boating and surfing. Getting around Snowdonia is easy with a choice of heritage steam railways available including at Llanberis Lake and The Welsh Highland railway between Porthmadoc to Caernarfon. Coed y Brenin Forest in the south of Snowdonia offers a good choice of purpose built mountain biking and walking trails or enjoy a hike up one of the southern mountains including Cadair Idris and the Rhinog mountain range.
