Wales has a huge choice of both caravan holiday parks and sites, static caravans and campsites. All types of holiday park come under the scheme, which can help you decide on the right style of holiday caravan park to suit your needs. Different style denotations include Holiday Parks for holiday caravans with sometimes touring and camping facilities on-site, Camping parks for tent accommodation only and Touring parks for touring caravans and sometimes for camping too. In touring parks theere will be no static holiday caravans available for renting.

The legacy of holiday parks on the North Wales coast particularly is rich. Holiday Parks are usually set in idyllic surroundings, either the country or on the coast and close to local attractions and amenities.

Free entertainment facilities such as indoor or outdoor swimming pool or fun pool, crazy golf or pitch and putt, adventure playground, big screen TV, pool and darts, football pitch. children's rides and amusements. Many if not most North Wales holiday parks are located within easy reach of great family beaches, for example around Prestatyn, Rhyl and Colwyn Bay or near Pwllheli and Abersoch's superb selection of beaches which attract a surfer crowd as well as families.

Camping Caravans Snowdonia, Cheap Campsites Wales

You can expect low cost land pitches for your tent and basic facilities such as wash block and shower and toilet blocks. Plenty of choice of beautifully located cheap caravan and campsites can be found around Snowdonia National Park, and on the outskirts at Bala. Both Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire also offer a wide choice of camping and caravan parks, as does the Lleyn Peninsula. Often facilities are basic in the more remote camping/caravan parks, so if you're looking for the ultimate cheap holiday accommodation this is it, but be ready to 'rough it!' For surfers and hardy outdoor activity and extreme sports fanatics there's plenty of choice of cheap camping and caravan sites around top surfing hotspots such as Borth on the Cardigan Bay coast, and around surfing hotspots on the Pembrokeshire coast.
