Cardiff Hotels

As capital of Wales, Cardiff is the most visited place in Wales. It is also packed with goodies for tourists, from Castles to mainstream sports' arenas (the Millennium Stadium), as well as a very well-renowned night-life with tons of bars and nightclubs: see the iknow-Wales Tourist Information Pages for more details.

Hotels in Cardiff are numerous, and can be found easily around the city. As with other cities, you will find hotel chains such as quality budget Premier Inns, Travelodges, Hiltons, ibis, Novotel and Holiday Inns. These offer comfortable, yet convenient, accommodation for all kinds of prices. Besides these, Cardiff also offers more traditional-style hotel accommodation, as with the Lincoln House Hotel, a historic Victorian town house.

Prices in these Cardiff hotels range from under £24 to over £45 depending on what you require: breakfast, en-suite etc. Cheap hotels in Cardiff don't normally come with a breakfast option, but 3, 4 or 5 star luxury hotels in Cardiff will most certainly provide a breakfast option, as well as all the amenities you would expect of a more expensive hotel.

In addition to this, there are a few interestig places to visit around Cardiff. Check our iknow-Wales accommodation listings for hotels in Gower, hotels in Swansea and hotels in Chepstow.

Llandudno Hotels

Llandudno is hailed as one of North Wales' premier tourist resorts, and was developed for holiday-goers in the mid-Victorian period of the 19th century. It is the largest seaside resort in North Wales and boasts a beautiful Promenade known as the Crescent. Other famous attractions in Llandudno include the pier, the Great Orme, and the Victorian Extravaganza in May. More of these details can found in our Iknow-Wales Tourist Information Pages on Llandudno.

Hotels in Llandudno have a very distinct Victorian feel about them. The most famous area of Llandudno is the main promenade, which rests in front of the main beach and is formed to a crescent shape. An entire row of hotels follow this shape along the length of the promenade. All of the hotels here contain rooms with sea views. There's also the Great Orme, at the foot of which is The Grand Hotel.

Behind the promenade are many other hotels, all different in size and shape. Some of the Llandudno hotels contain just a few rooms, while others contain over one-hundred and fifty rooms. And these range in price from £25 to over £45, depending on the class of hotel you choose. If you prefer a cheap hotel in Llandudno, then you will have to cut out the creature comforts of its luxury counterpart. A 3, 4 or 5 star luxury hotel in Llandudno would include a breakfast option (full English, buffet, Continental breafast etc), ensuite rooms, and possibly various leisure facilities (gyms, swimming pools).

Chepstow Hotels

Chepstow is a town in the south of Wales, and is most famous for its Castle and race course (Chepstow Racecourse). More in-depth information about Chepstow can be found in the iknow-wales Tourist Information Pages on Chepstow.

The iknow-wales accommodation listings contains a number of different Chepstow hotels to choose from. Depending on what class of hotel you want to stay in, you could expect to pay anywhere from under £25 to over £45. Budget hotels in Chepstow, for instance, would cost between £25 and £35, but may not provide all the facilities associated with a luxury Chepstow hotel: breakfast, en-suite rooms etc. With a luxury hotel in Chepstow, costing over £45 per person per night, you will receive a breakfast (full English, Continental), as well as an ensuite room, and possibly access to leisure facilities (swimming pools, gyms).

A great example of a luxury Chepstow hotel is the 14th century manor hotel known as the Marriott St Pierre Hotel & Country Club.
