Golf lovers may not initially think of Wales and Swansea Bay as prime golf area, indeed Wales was named the 'Undiscovered Golf Destination of the Year' for Golf in 2003 at the International Association of Golf Travel Organisers Awards. Swansea Bay offers a choice of some of the finest golf courses in Wales, as well as some excellent golf clubs and specialist golf pro shops.

Allt-Y-Graban Golf Club, Swansea Golf Holidays
Allt-Y-Graban Golf Club and Golf Course in Pontlliw Swansea is a pretty 9 hole golf course with scope for golfers wanting to play 18 holes. The clubshouse is superbe here with excellent facilities and both members and visitors are welcome. It's conveniently situated just off Junction 47 of the M4 via the A48.
It's a parkland golf course this one, with delightful views of the gentle surrounding countryside. Golf clubs and trolleys can be hired and bar meals and snacks are available on-site. Green fees are good value, and visitors are welcome on Tuesday mornings particularly. Phone for details. Golf tuition is also available. Clyne Golf Club, Swansea Wales Golf
Moving closer to Swansea (10 minutes away!), Clyne Golf Club is an 18 hole moorland golf course with a pro shop and club and trolly hire available. You can also get golf tuition here too!
This Swansea Bay golf course is elevated (about 500 to 600 feet above sea level), so you can expect some idyllic views of the surround countryside. Sitting at the gateway to the Gower Peninsula, Clyne Golf Club is a challenging course with a few bonus natural hazards.

Fairwood Park Golf Club, Swansea
Looking for the perfect UK club golf site in Wales. Fairwood Park Championship Golf Course and Golf Club will probably top of your list! This stunning Championship golf course boasts 135 acres of parkland and sits on the sublime Gower Peninsula. Only 15 minutes from Swansea, Fairwood Park Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course offering blubs, buggles and trolley hire service, catering facilities and a pro shop. Just 15 minutes to the west of Swansea is the renowned Gower Golf Club, an 18 hole golf course with golf lessons, pro shop and hire services all available.
