St Davids Tourist Information
Although it is the smallest city in Britain, St. Davids Pembrokeshire is a big pull for UK tourists. Visitors to St. Davids travel from miles around to visit the stunning beach at Whitesands Bay, one of the most popular destinations for both families with young children as well as surfers looking to catch some waves at one of the UK's best spots. Visitors can embark on guided marine tours of the inshore and offshore Pembrokeshire Islands, with outdoor pursuits including sea kayaking, surfing and climbing available. There is also a not-to-be-missed offshore Islands voyage which includes whale and dolphin watching. The natural beauty of the area can also be appreciated at the RSPB Nature Reserve on Ramsey Island, a short boat ride from St. Davids Peninsula. As well as its attractive seabird cliffs, the island is home to a grey seal breeding colony.

St Davids Cathedral, Wales, and the Medieval Bishops Palace in St Davids
St Davids Cathedral is one of the most imposing and striking Cathedrals in the country and thousands flock to the city every year to visit what was once one of the most revered and significant buildings in the church. The ruins of the Bishop's Palace, which still stand next to the Cathedral itself, show the splendour that was once associated with St. Davids.
St. Non's chapel, where St. Non gave birth to St. David, also lies in ruins, but is preserved on the Welsh Coast, charmingly undisturbed amidst several miles of farmland above St. Non's bay. St. Non's well is fabled to have sprung up from the ground at the time of St. David's birth and is also widely believed to have the capacity to heal the sick.
